Martyn Gregory, Vice President

Martyn graduated from the University of Durham (UK) in 1981, with honors in Applied Physics and Electronics. He spent twenty years with the British Broadcasting Corporation's (BBC) transmission engineering group which subsequently became Crown Castle UK after the BBC privatized its transmission engineering division in 1997. He worked extensively in transmitter operations engineering for ten years including AM, HF, FM and TV; before transfering to the BBC's specialist antenna and RF systems design group, during which time he was heavily involved with the initial DTV and digital radio antenna programs in the UK. In 1999, Martyn moved to the USA as Crown Castle’s broadcast engineering manager. In 2001, he joined Richland Towers as Director of Broadcast and RF Systems Engineering, where he specialized again in broadband system development, encouraging station co-location for Richland's growing portfolio of shared FM and UHF-TV RF systems. In 2004, he was invited to rejoin Crown Castle International as Vice President of Service Delivery for their mobile TV initiative, and was responsible for the operation and maintenance of their DVB-H based mobile TV networks, focused initially throughout New York City.

Dale Ladner, Regional Sales Manager

Dale is pleased to rejoin Shively Labs after more than a decade away.

His first radio experience started with high school radio station WAVM 91.7 in Maynard, MA. It was a great opportunity to learn the business of managing a radio station and be granted a radiotelephone license from the FCC. After a family move to Maine, he kept in the ring working the weekend graveyard shifts at WOXO 92.7 in Norway, Maine.

Dale has worked in the RF component and antenna manufacturer field since 1985,starting as a Purchasing Agent for Microwave Techniques of Raymond, Maine, purchasing for products used in Military radar, food service processing and aeronautical radar components. For years he served Howell Laboratories, Inc. (our parent company) as Production Controller and Purchasing Agent, working with Naval air dehydrators and air control and purification systems used shipboard for radar and dry air service. In the late 90’s he swapped over to the Shively side, defining and developing the Western Territories of the US antenna market for Shively radio antenna, filter and RF component sales.

In the time he was away from Bridgton, he spent time working for Passive Power Products, now a part of Electronic Research Incorporated (ERI), and Dielectric Communications, in Sales-related positions from FM Sales, FM Product Specialist to Quotations and Technical Services Group.

Dale is a graduate of the University of Maine with a degree in Business Management and is taking classes towards other degrees.
